Suddenly my external drive only open in normal window's mode, but not in Safemode. I like to open it only in Safemode, fearing sensitive data might be delete by Eset etc.
I enabled the two USB settings in Toshiba HW Setup and the legacy USB setting in the BIOS. That's why the other external drive opens, but not this one, I am talking about. Short time before that, the (latter) same drive opened in Safemode, but suddenly it fails to open.
When click onto 'Open' it, Win 7 starts to search for it and then ends with 'Explorer restarting'. It even allows me to partially to 'Explore' the drive until it again ends in 'Explorer restarting'.
In Safemode (using Paragon Hard Disk Manager) I moved its primary partition to a logical partition, but it didn't change anything. When I try to 'Open' the external drive I get an error message, saying: F: refers to a location that is unavailable. Yet, in normal mode the same external drive opens as soon I plug in the USB port.
What else can it be? Maybe you have the experience to know what's going on?
